Appointments
We respect our patients' time and make every effort to remain on schedule. Some visits are more complicated than initially anticipated, and emergencies may arise that could delay us. If we are significantly delayed, every effort will be made to notify you beforehand. Because we reserve time exclusively for each patient, we ask that you make every effort not to change your reserved dental appointment. If you find that you cannot keep your scheduled appointment, we require a minimum 24 hours notification. If your reserved appointment is for longer than one hour, we kindly ask for 48 hours notice. This allows your reserved time to be made available for other patients. To notify us of any change, please call our office during business hours or leave a message on our answering machine, which is time and date stamped for your convenience.
Dental Insurance
We will always do our best to help you maximize your benefits. Although we file claims for you as a courtesy, your dental insurance policy is a contract between you, your employer and your insurance company. We are not a party to that contract (we are not a participating provider.) Your treatment plan is individually tailored, and is not based on your dental insurance benefits or lack of benefits. Not all services are covered benefits in all contracts. It is your responsibility to thoroughly understand the coverage and exceptions of your particular policy.
As a courtesy to all of our insured patients, we will file your dental insurance claim forms. In special circumstances, a particular insurance company's benefit check can be sent directly to our office. In such cases, you are responsible at the time of treatment for your co-insurance portion. Any payments made directly to you by your insurance company on unpaid balances should be forwarded immediately to our office so that your account can be credited accordingly.
Your claim will be filed immediately, and benefits are expected to be paid within 30 days. The filing of an insurance claim does not relieve you of timely payment on your account. If the claim is not cleared by your carrier in 45 days, the unpaid portion will automatically become "self-pay." You are responsible for any amounts your insurance company chooses not to pay, for whatever reason. Please feel free to contact your insurance company regarding unpaid benefits. We will gladly provide you with all pertinent information you may need.
Payments
In order to maintain our office on sound business principles, we ask that our patients accept and adhere to financial arrangements regarding their dental treatments. Payment for professional services is expected at the time of service. For your convenience we accept cash, checks, debit cards and major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express). We also accept CareCredit.
Financing
Because your smile is important to us, we offer, a healthcare credit card specifically designed to pay for treatments and procedures not covered by insurance. We offer No Interest* financing or low minimum monthly payment options so you can get what you want, when you want it. You can even use CareCredit for your family and favorite pet.
With three simple steps, including an instant approval process, it's easy to apply for CareCredit. After you're approved, you're free to use CareCredit for the healthcare services you choose.
CareCredit is endorsed by some of the most credible organizations specific to each health care profession they support. CareCredit is a GE Money Company, so you know you can count on them. For over 20 years, they've been helping over five million cardholders get the health care treatments they want and need.
With CareCredit, the decision's in your hands to get what you want, when you want it. For more information or to apply online, visit carecredit.com

Sterilization
You have every right to expect complete safety while in our care. Your health and peace of mind are always our primary concern. We use state-of-the-art sterilization procedures and employ the highest standards of cross-infection control - using a combination of methods - to ensure the surgery environment achieves clinical sterility.
Our clinical staff are regularly trained and updated in cross-infection control techniques. After every patient, the treatment area is thoroughly disinfected. We ultrasonically clean and heat-sterilize with an autoclave all non-disposable instruments.
Many surgical items are supplied ready-sterilized and disposed of after use. All surfaces are disinfected, and cups, gloves and hand towels are used only once before being thrown away.
Please feel free to ask us for information on the measures we take to ensure the safety of you and your children.
